To all who heard rumors

Recently And dance and others have been the target of the nastier side of the Gay and lesbian community. We have been bombarded on Twitter and various other blogs with lies and hateful comments. I am posting this to anyone who has heard these lies. They are certainly not true. The founders of And Dance are not bigots, nor are we hypocrites. We simply do not agree with the Gay and Lesbian community, just as they do not agree with us. We respectfully spoke out against an article in a popular wedding magazine and subsequently outraged others. Though we stand by our beliefs, we want you all to know that we in no way tried to stir up, or spread hate for anyone or any group. We were simply expressing our displeasure with one magazine on a private blog site. We tried to present our comments in a gentle and non-confrontational way, however the responses we received were anything but. The comments we received were all emotional hate speech, as well as lies and clear personal attacks that had nothing to do with the article at hand.
